Phrasal Verb - Run Out (Of)


Run out (of) = Become empty/Exhaust a supply of (money, food, milk, etc…) 
(Inseparable)(Transitive & Intransitive)
Examples:
“I went to London, but it was so expensive that I RAN OUT OF money in 2 days!”
“Is there any beer left?” … “No, we’ve RUN OUT
Note: use “run out OF” only with an object… 
Example:
“We’ve run out OF milk”
“Is there any milk in the fridge?” “No, we’ve run out of.”
