Be on about = Talk about


Be on about = talk about (Usually to show lack of understanding)
(Transitive) (Inseparable)
Examples:
“What are you on about?” = “What are you talking about?”

“I don’t know what you‘re on about, mate! You’re not making sense!”

"Earlier, you were on about some film, what film were you on about?"
